It's the first day of school. Daniel is excited about learning new things. Delilah hopes to see her friends again. Skip wants to hide on the playground. He hates school. In class, Skip sits behind Portly Pete. However, Mrs. Smith tells him to change seats. She wants him to sit in the front. It's good that Skip is sitting so close to Mrs. Smith. Now she can call on him to answer any questions.
Skip and his friends are walking to school. Skip doesn't want to go to school, but Delilah is happy to see her friends again. Daniel likes to sit in class and learn new things.
